Due to a delay in Visa processing, the final step in receiving the necessary paperwork required for Michael Schenker to enter North America was stalled. This will cause his “In The Midst Of Beauty” tour to be postponed until June-July.

Hi Everybody,
Here is what's coming up.
I will be at the Namm Show on Friday, January 16th signing things from 4:30 - 5:30 pm, and on Saturday January 17th from 1:00 - 2:00 pm..
I may also be jamming at the House of Blues on Saturday, January 17th in Anaheim at 11:00 pm.
We are currently putting together a US Tour starting around February/March and a UK Tour is planed as well.
Gary and I have just completed an Acoustic Album. Real good.
It will be released in early spring.

Michael Schenker will be joining the Scorpions as there guest Guitarist on their upcoming UK Tour in mid October to play material from Lovedrive and Lonesome Crow.
In addition, Schenker/Barden will be opening for the Scorpions with an acoustic set in Newcastle only.
Furthermore, MSG-Schenker/Barden are scheduled for more dates in Europe starting Oct. 23rd and are currently working on a UK Tour in November to be followed by a US Tour early next year.

Thiago Sarkis of Roadie Crew magazine (www.roadiecrew.net) organised a poll in which 330 guitarists were asked to mention their favorite guitarists of all time. Among the participants in the poll were current and former members of such bands as GUNS N' ROSES, KISS, MACHINE HEAD, ALICE COOPER, NIGHTWISH, MEGADETH, SCORPIONS, TESTAMENT, ARCH ENEMY, KING DIAMOND, SEPULTURA, DIO, TWISTED SISTER, KAMELOT, BLUE CHEER, YES, GENESIS, DOWN, KING CRIMSON, TEN YEARS AFTER, MICK JAGGER, OZZY OSBOURNE etc.
The results of the poll were published in the new issue of Roadie Crew (#112) and showed Michael Schenker as the 10th-favorite guitarist of all times to the guitarists of Classic Rock & Heavy Metal.
The 330 participants of the poll chose 5 guitarists to make their Top 5 and had to put them in order. Afterwards, they were free to mention from 1 to 5 other musicians which would be among their favourites as well. First place got 10 points. Second place, 8 points. Third place, 6 points. Fourth place, 4 points. Fifth place, 2 points. From the sixth to the tenth place, 1 point.
Michael Schenker was cited 58 times and accumulated 281 points. He was picked one of the favorites by such musicians as Paul Gilbert (Racer X - ex-Mr. Big), Michael Amott (Arch Enemy), Roland Grapow (Masterplan - ex-Helloween), Aaron Aedy (Paradise Lost), Alex Skolnick and Eric Peterson (Testament), Andy LaRocque (King Diamond), Gary Holt (Exodus), Erik Turner (Warrant), Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon), Hans Ziller (Bonfire), Jim Matheos (Fates Warning), among many others.
Chris Caffery (Savatage) picked Michael Schenker as his No. 1 and was invited by Roadie Crew to come up with a statement about his favorite guitarists of all times. Caffery wrote: "Michael is in my opinion the greatest lead guitar player ever. Each solo he played brought the song to a new level. He talked to us with his guitar."
